The Mitchell

This is a big loud in-your-face guitar. SL is either 25 or 25.5 inches. Neck is either 12 or 14 fret. I recommend a Manzer wedge with this guitar and arm and rib bevels work nicely too. With these additions it is actually a comfortable guitar to play on the couch, but it has the volume to drive your in- Laws home. In spite of its size, it is not a boomy guitar but has a well balanced articulate response to both pick and fingerstyle playing.

This particular guitar is made of Curly Spanish cedar with Black Walnut trim. It has a cantilevered fingerboard to liberate the upper bout and let it join in the music making. Internally there are carbon fiber struts that carry the string load from the neck block to the waist of the guitar. This particular guitar has an adjustable neck.
