This guitar is the same shape and size as the original pre-war 000 Martin. The only exception is that it is slightly deeper in the lower bout. The neck has 12 frets clear of the body, a design that pushes the bridge farther back on the top to near the center of the lower bout. This is the so-called “sweet spot” and may be the reason that the guitar sounds so sweet. This is a wonderful guitar for fingerpicking. It has surprising volume, and excellent articulation.
